I haven't been on here in a loooooooooooong time. Whats new?
Still have my car, 85 Z28 with T5 and 388 stroker, but its parked now. I'm in my first year of college. But I plan on pulling my motor out of the car and resealing it, doing a wire tuck, and painting the entire car soon. Just gotta find a hood and do some bodywork. But all this is after I find some drag radials and go make a good pass at the strip.
Now I have very big dreams for this thing. I want a fuel injected, twin turbo 383 with a T56. But that is a ways off lol. Dream big.
I now have a 03 Mustang GT for DD'ing and work. Its alright. Not enough cubes though.
I'll have questions for y'all very soon! |

Yeah those 4.6's aren't enough for my taste.they can be made quick but they lack the low end torque of the larger motors. Awesome to hear school is going well and the car is still rocking. What color are you planning?

Yeah they can be fast, especially the DOHC motors in the cobras and machs. But the SOHC like mine are just bleh until at least 5000 rpm.
Yeah its running pretty strong, backfires like a crazy mofo though. Needs new plugs and better tuning I think. I'm going with the original blue and gold color scheme, but not the stock colors. The blue has some flake and stuff in it. Its gonna be a bastard to spray I think. |
