Spotted this at Ocean Shores last week. Talked to the owner briefly. This is his "beach car". He didn't want anything too nice to thrash in the salt water, so he built this.

That guy is cool. Isn't he the owner of the kite store down by the beach approach? _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Yeah! He was out on a smoke break and I was looking at his car. I asked if I could take some pics and he said sure and opened the hood for me. Thats a pretty cool slant six! |

Hmm. Still a Plymouth, still a wagon, still has a roof rack, has diamond plate running boards that are not useful, maybe I'm missing something?
JMHO, still not cool. |

Don't like the colors.
Don't like the flames.
Don't like the wheels.
Don't like the cowl hood that's there for no reason.
Don't like the Edelbrock.
Really don't like the diamond plate.
But it has a slant six so it has near infinite coolness.
With a different hood, different paint scheme and different carburetor I would pimp that thing all day.
@ Dave, it's a beach car duder. Not running boards. Sand shields. |

Its a beach car not a show car. Surf boards on the roof would make it a little cooler. |

Guess I need to post up picks off my buddies early 60's ford Falcon? wagon beach cruiser that he has parked at his beach house in Mexico. It isnt tricked out but it is set up for surfboards and beach cruising. it also has stickers from surfboard MFG's and hot rod shops dating back over 40 years. |

You want a POS as a beach car 'cause the salt water will destroy it. |

It's a Mopar so it should already have some fist-sized rust holes through it. |
