My 69 has been off the road since it had a discussion with a tree... Superbowl night, 2 years ago. The first picture is the the way it looked when I bought it; the second is my damage; the third is my repair efforts, and the others are the paint job, which I got back today.
I did the body work for the first time ever. It didn't come out as well as I hoped, but it's not too bad. Note the absence of the vinyl roof/rust developer.
Woodland Auto Body did the paint; base coat clear coat, and they'll be cutting and buffing in a couple of weeks. There's a few odds and ends, but now I get to put it back together. There's some interior work to do, and I'm hoping to go with new trim around the windows, but another grand ought to finish it up. |
